Chrysalis Drug Project:
Client Personal Development Workshops
Living with the stigma of having an addiction can cause many negative side effects. Come to Chrysalis to learn about some of the internal and external factors that can contribute to and trigger addiction.
Client Workshops Taking Place at Chrysalis Community Drug Project 33 Manor Street Dublin. 7. Clients are welcome to attend one or all workshops. Certificates will be awarded on May 31st 2010.

The North Inner City Drugs Task Force are holding a morning seminar on the 6th May 2010 titled:
“NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION”
(UNREGULATED ‘HEAD SHOP’ SUBSTANCES AND THEIR RISKS)
This is the first seminar in a series of seminars, this one being aimed at drugs project services and affiliated services, the other seminars will target communities, families, schools and relevant youth projects.
The Seminar will take place in Ozanam House, 53 Mountjoy Square West, from 10am - 1pm, among the speakers will be Dr. Des Corrigan.

The Snug Counselling Service:
One Day Anger Management Skills Training Programme:
The Snug Counselling Service are running an Anger Management Training course for men in addiction, living or working within the North West Inner City Drugs Task Force Area.
This training comprises of a One Day Workshop which will take place on
Saturday 24th April 2010
The time will be from 10.30am to 4.30pm and there will be lunch included.
Venue: Jurys Inn Parnell Street, Dublin 1
The course will cover the following topics:

- Hidden Anger Checklist
- Rules for Direct Verbal Expression of Anger
- Case Studies
- Anger Trigger Events
- Anger Coping Responses
- Working on Anticipatory Anger
- Positive Ways to Deal with Anger
- Conflict Resolution and Personal Reflection
- Dynamics of Anger and Anger Management
- Anger Management Interventions
